This year has been 100% different than I planned.
At the end of 2017, I thought hard about where I wanted to take my career. I had closed up my WordPress theme shop, and I wasn’t sure where I wanted to go next, or whether I even wanted to continue working in website development. I had stalled out and I was completely uninspired and unmotivated.
Ultimately I decided to return to client work, and as cheesy as it sounds, I ended up finding myself again. I began making websites when I was 13, a beloved hobby that I loved enough to do every day for 20 years. I hadn’t worked one on one with a client in a couple of years but I couldn’t wait to start 2018 with my new-old focus on building beautiful custom brands and websites.
And then, the second week of January, I found out I was pregnant. Surprise!
I kept working with a few new and old clients, but my big plans having a full calendar AND building a course for learning how to build a website with WordPress and Elementor had to be… modified, to say the least. I ended up having a hard pregnancy with morning sickness the entire time, pre-eclampsia, and a month-early c-section.
Now we’re fast approaching a new year again, and I’m sitting here with my MacBook, Hulu playing in the background, thinking about what the future holds for me and my new larger family. Over the course of this crazy year, I gained clarity about at least one thing – I need more simplicity in my life.
Simplicity is why I decided to get back to basics with my own branding. I’ve consolidated everything here, at NatashaCozad.com. My portfolio, blog, and shop (which is still coming soon) will all live here. My blog will be mostly work-based, but maybe with a touch of lifestyle. My shop will include the previously mentioned course and other must-haves for online entrepreneurs who are currently building their brand or website.
I’m currently accepting new clients and projects, and I have a few new packages to choose from.
For businesses who already have a brand or website designed, and just need a website, I have the Website a la Carte package. If you need the whole shebang with a full brand, logo, and website, I have a package for that, too. I also have monthly packages for both design & development or WordPress security & updates.
If you think we might be a good fit, please get in touch and we can discuss your project needs.
